Yeah, I guess it is kind of the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Game
edit: and I agree with Ed that Goldeneye is similarly lionized. That game does not hold up well. I'm sure it was fun to play when no other console FPSs existed, but it's just such a poorly designed and ugly game.
