Uh. Try and trap it, but not kill it. If it's THAT big, then it may be a new species and you might want to have the right sort of people look at it. Contact Animal Control, contact the government or some science company or something. Also the press. Explain the situation and take pictures.

Unfortunately, this was a serious suggestion. I'm not going to let skepticism get in the way of PROGRESS.
