There’s an anecdote from high school I like to retell; I was never part of the group’s sessions, but it sounded like a blast.

The DM ought to have known better. This was certainly a group where the goal was to give the DM a headache. I will call him Chávez, as that was his name. Now, Chávez had a scenario from the Internet. The adventure began with a wizard approaching the party, entreating them for aid. You can guess where the party told the wizard he could shove it.

Chávez scanned quickly up and down the scenario sheet.
