Suddenly, the theater went dark, but only for a moment. Soon, the lights flashed on once more, but there was something missing. A lot, actually. There was no more illusionary audience, no more Stage Director, and nothing left of the stage that made up the show. The remaining contestants were still in the theater, though. The recently fallen Samuel was still there, unmoving. There was one noticeable difference. The doors to the back of the theater were now open.

From the open doors, a groaning could be heard, and a single lurching man shambled through one of them. He didn't look so well, not well at all. In fact if it weren't for the whole thing with it walking, he could pass as dead.

The voice of the Observer was heard.
"Welcome, shoppers, to the Value City Mall! We've recently done some renovating, to remove all those pesky exits that were once here. Please be advised that you should take care when in the vicinity of the many thousands of undead patrons that are in the mall at this time. The most important thing, however, is to have fun! Enjoy!"
The Observer's voice cut out, leaving no more sound but the moans of the living dead.

Here's your battleground!

Yes, this is the mall you're in. A little bit of info on each place.

The Observer Theater is where you are now. All the reality warping effects that it previously had are no longer in effect.

Dale's Weaponporium! Mostly guns, but there's a good number of other weapons as well.

The Wondercade is well, an arcade. Get enough tickets, and win the grand prize at the redemption counter!

Splash World is a waterpark, right inside the mall! Boasting 5 fun rides, and a great wavepool, it's sure to please.

Tom's Toolshed, for all your fixing needs. The customer representatives would be glad to help you with your renovation project, if they were, y'know, alive.

Grocer Delight is a grocery store. Yep.

Electromagic has all your electronic and entertainment needs. TVs, computers, video games, music, movies, you name it. They've recently tried appliances, too, but it didn't go too well. They've got a lot of vaccuums leftover, though.

The Atrium has a large spiral staircase going up to a fantastic view of the city through an impenetrable glass dome at the top. Warning: City may be bleak.

Food Services refers to just places to buy food. There's a few of those places by the theater, but the food court has all the major food locations.

Other Stores are up for you to decide. What else is in this mall?

Pink bathrooms are ladies, while blue are gents.

And the Staff Hallways are places accessible only by staff, mostly to get to the back doors of some places.



Of course, this mall you're in is absolutely infested with zombies. There are a ton of normal zombies, obviously, but there are plenty of... special zombies, as well. One special zombie for every contestant in the other games, as well as every dead contestant in this game. They're still totally mindless, but they may still be retaining some power that their living counterparts would have had.
