SpoilerBalancers are used to flitting about their own universe like they were going about a store, simply appearing and dissapearing without too much effort. This is because in their universe, they are literally a fundamental part of existence and nature as a whole, despite being living constructs. As he is not of this universe, it took a whole lot more power and energy to shift than it usually would, and it amounted to him channeling massive amounts of internal power into his sniper rifle and using it to burrow in between the seperate planes of this new reality. It was less a reality warping bubble and more like he sidestepped between two simultaneous versions of the same universe, using roughly as much power as it would take to sustain him for an entire year to tunnel. It was like kicking up the dials on an ability he already had for the sake of arriving where the others were going. And for this reason bobthepen it makes me a little bit confused as to what Samuel has just done, considering a reality warping bubble only existed for a few moments- it popped, and what was released was the Balancer into the garden. If you could more clearly explain what you meant to have happened there to me, it would assist greatly in my making of my next post.
