Aeon blinked and observed his surroundings. A library. Not truly a battlefield, now is it, Director? But, this place just might hold the key to our escape, which seems more and more like the preferred strategy, now that all of the other contestants are in good relations… He looked at the adaptive tool. The attack on the demon fulfilled Emily's last will, and subsequently the energy she gave to Aeon was drained out in destroying the demon. He sighed, and inhaled a mouthful of dust in the process. Ignoring the resounding echo of his coughs, Aeon noticed something interesting. He lifted the crystal eyepatch that he had been using for so long, and was greeted with the familiar feeling of his eye adjusting to brightness. Surely enough, all of the minor wounds were healed up as well. Aeon looked at his adaptive tool, smiled, and began to walk through the aisles.
Thanks, Emily.

A man walked through an abandoned base, exploiting space and moving around walls, ignoring the corpses and battle going on around him. He stopped by a figure overlooking a strange little girl holding an equally strange book. The man began to speak.
“Drake.â€
The second figure turned around without surprise.
“Ari.â€
“I am sorry to interrupt this illegitimate excursion, but we have a situation in the original Game. The Director wishes for a conference.â€
The man turned and walked back the way he came, and the second figure promptly followed.
Thanks, Emily.
