You find a bunch of crystals on a large branch at the back on the tree so that you don't have to climb back down and proceed to lick one.

Just like the light you poked it gains more shades of it's color.
>Maybe the light gave you powers. Try to shoot lightning.

You walk a little ways down the branch from the crystals and wiggle your fingers, trying as you do so to channel your energy into them or something.
Nothing happens.
