SpoilerI believe Eximo's sensors are very acute, allowing him to see things ordinary humans cannot.

The trade-off is that you have to get it to have an incentive to attack you. If you get rid of Amethyst's psychedelic walls and cover the place with filth, it will start to ignore you.

SpoilerThat's a pretty good summary. Eximo is a dangerous opponent, but as long as it doesn't perceive you as an immediate threat, and it has cleaning to do, it won't bother to attack.

Also, while it was hard to explain this from Eximo's point of view, basically what I was going for is that the "heart" in Lutherion's arm is the only part of him that the scan picks up, since it's designed to detect "life". And, because it's not a typical form of life, the signal from it is significantly weaker. Lutherion has shown up on Eximo's scans before, so this makes him easy to pick out... unless somebody else in the area is near-death.

(Now that I've given away that tidbit, I hope you're all thinking of potential ways to use it.)

I'm not sure how Lutherion doing an arm-explosion affects the scan, though. It depends on what, exactly, happens to the heart when he does that.
