The unlikely pair continued on their way. Corridor after corridor, they sneaked about, Arckal asking Jetsam friendly questions in an attempt to break the ice, while Jetsam avoided each and every one.

"So what's your plan for when you get out?" Arckal asked again, for the tenth time.

<font color="#4B647D">Jetsam just mumbled something nondescript, which had become his way of telling Arkcal to shut the fuck up. Currently, the traveler was attempting to recall where he had seen the machine that would let him out. As he recalled, it was a large cylindrical device, that had a small capsule to place a body in. To someone not in the know, they would think that would be how someone would leave. It was a lot more complicated than that.

Something, which someone floating around was very familiar with...

"So uh... you sure you know where we're going?"

"Yea yea yea, toots."

"Pardon?"

"N.. Nothing, just what where you sayinggguh?

Arckal, while curious to his companions sudden coming out and slight twitching, was mostly oblivious to the complete change in tone, and while he was slightly suspicious, payed it no mind and responded. "Do you know where we're going?"

"Ah yes. Well, obviously this place has got a portal of sorts, and It's right over there, yeaps. Though... I would want to bring in another peeeeersuuuuuuuuuu-"

Arckal stepped back as Jetsam's face suddenly went blank and he seemed to be stuck.

-uuuuck you..."

There was a flash as suddenly, whatever had come over Jetsam, had gone out and passed through Arkcal on it's way. The two of them stood in silence, Jetsam slightly fatigued.

"What... what was that?"

Jetsam responded to the question with a punch. "Whoops, sorry, still have some ghost left in me."

Said ghost was currently moving back to whence she came, to give the scraps of knowledge to a companion of her own. Moving effortlessly though, the fairly ladylike ghost, who would like to be called Asteria thank-you-very-much, was very excited at the prospect of leaving this drab and stupid asylum, especially when she recalled the unscrupulous situation that she had to deal with.

Regardless of the past, she reached her destination as an armored man, with a tinge of transparency greeted her. "Oh, dorkie, you won't believe what I've discovered."

<font color="#408000">"My beautiful Asteria, any news of yours can only be the truth. What is it?"

"I have found two capable of reaching the portal, if we possess them, we can escape ourselves. However, one of them is far too powerful for me, and the other has a condition..."

"Elaborate my sweet."

"He seems to think himself linked to another in this facility, a blob creature named Reuben. I think that you should probably look over him for a while, just make sure that he doesn't die or get himself killed, while I play I-spy on the boys until I get the chance to call you over so we can get out together." She gave him a wink, just to seal the deal.</font>

The ghostly knight agreed without much fuss, and in a large huff, he charged away in a random direction, just knowing that he would encounter the blob and keep him away from any sort of trouble. Trouble like any spiritually tuned inmates who could have been moving around and ignoring Reuben for being alive until the point where a ghostly knight went right up to where he was and started expounding his ghostlyness. Whoops!

Meanwhile, Asteria went back to the unlikely duo, who had returned to their cycle of mumbling and inquiries.</font>

"This is going to just be too easy."
