Vasily took instant advantage of the en masse glass shattering, and upon the breaking of his handcuffs, his hands lept towards the sword tied haphazardly to his waist, which he proceeded to unsheathe and wave in the air in front of him. Had a camera been present, and had lighting been better than total darkness, presumably it would have zoomed in upon the grizzled pirate's face and granted him a most generous closeup as he said the following: "Right 'en. Time tae kick some glass," he roared, removing a small match he used for the lighting of cigars and striking it on a nearby surface.
The light from the match was barely enough to see, but it granted Vasily the vision he needed to strike at his opponents - and 'twas not just his opponents he was lashing out against, but the entirety of the glass structure as a whole. With extraordinary finesse, he attempted to accelerate the shattering of the glass, dealing blow after blow to the glass horde - though, to be fair, the vast majority of their casualties were caused by the outside force, not by his efforts. Still, he understood well that to be a hero meant to struggle against your enemy even when it seemed foolish to do such a thing. After all, there was a hot babe in danger, and where there were hot babes, there was sure to be . . .

CPT. VASILY RURIKOVICH,
PIRATE ADVENTURER
With that vitally important thing out of the way (drama is everything, mind), Vasily moved to grab Anabelle and pull her away from whatever strange, foreign thing that was near her. Hopefully she would come willingly, but if not, there was always room for Vasily. Always room![/color]PIRATE ADVENTURER
