SpoilerI hope I'm not stepping too far away from my powers as written here. It's evolving as I write it to fall under the more encompassing umbrella of telepathy. While he's not consciously reading minds, he's using the minds around him to achieve certain effects. In this case, he has to use someone else's brain to translate for him. He's also reading and altering emotions, but that's not a conscious thing on the part of the person being read. Telepathy had to be involved in altering another person's senses to create his illusions in the first place, unless implemented as the bending of light or something, which this isn't. I hope that's acceptable.
