We really should figure out where everyone is right now. We have Sen mentioning a business district, and Vexmagog was in a shopping center. Jacob was talking about being in a park, with a second park visible with a fountain and a domed building. In the interest of expediting the whole character meet-and-greet process, I sort of combined those three locations, but I'm not sure I made that clear. The shopping center is on one side of a large town square, with trees, a fountain, and city hall. One side of the town square is the shopping center, the other is several businesses, which Sen is hopping around on right now.
I'm operating under the assumption that the park Jacob started in was more or less on the opposite side of the sphere from the pylon, or at least further from it than the city hall, with the city hall being between the two. I'm basing this on the fact that he said the pylon was his ultimate destination and he was stopping at city hall along the way. I had also envisioned Vexmagog as traveling vaguely towards the pylon, but I never stated it outright, and if Sen is in the direction the Vexmagog is headed and Jacob has already encountered Sen then that model does not work, since Vexmagog is at city hall right now. So I guess Vexmagog is walking away from the pylon (even though he was thinking about using it to steer the colony somewhere more civilized.) So in a more-or-less linear fashion from closest to the pylon to furthest from it, we have shopping center, city hall/town square, business district, park where Jacob started. Of course there is some deviation based on the fact that this takes place on the inside of a sphere, but I can't really picture any setup that makes it work out.
I think Alex and John are in the park where Jacob started, which is presumably larger than the park in the middle of town. They are probably somewhere laterally deviant from this line. Blitz was following Jacob but just got dropped, and after Jacob had already encountered Sen, so he's somewhere on the outskirts of the business district and Sen is somewhere right by him. Jacob jumped a block ahead, which would put him in Town Square directly opposite Vexmagog, or at least close by. Both Wolf and Steven are on nondescript streets, which could be anywhere at this point.
The problem with this is that my post was reacting to Sen's call for other tenders, which happened just after he arrived. Jacob has already been walking for a good distance, and has already seen Sen hopping on the rooftops, which happened after the call. That means that he's at some point in time after Vexmagog arrived at city hall, or some point in time after he left, meaning we missed each other somehow. I will have had to change direction or be otherwise out of sight for us not to have already encountered each other.
