SpoilerIt occurs to me that, since the stasis field makes the fighters go right through the passengers, Marcus technically could have used the other restroom.

SpoilerIt would be best to assume that most bathroom doors and/or occupied private rooms/cars are locked. So, even if Marcus wanted to use one of the other lavatories, he wouldn't be able to due to the lock. Also, the way Gabe described it, coming into brief contact with the passengers produces a sickening and uncomfortable feeling, perhaps prolonged contact would result in actual physical illness? Oh and I'll be making a post sometime today, assuming no one gets a reserve up before I can get to it that is.
