You ask the map seller about if he's actually sold that map, considering he's loudly advertising a map to a supposedly hidden and secret treasure.

Map Seller
Eh, I've sold a few here and there. I can assure you that it's quite genuine. Getting there is the easy part. The hard part is actually dealing with the damn serpent that lives there, so not many people actually attempt it. People mostly buy it to show off to their friends.

The map seller shifts his eyes for a few seconds before he leans in, beckoning you in closer. He then speaks in a hushed tone.

Map Seller
Ya see, I've got some maps to several special places. One of those places is actually right here, in this very city! Or rather, under the city... See, long ago, they say that the emperors of Ba Sing Se are buried, but not in any regular ol' plots. No, they're buried in a tomb of great crystals and gems, a place of utmost wonder, befitting a king. And, it's right under our feet at this very moment! Some even say that the Avatar himself went there to fight a grand battle with the Dai Li. I don't know how true that is, but this map that I acquired (don't ask how) is, to my knowledge, very very accurate. All that needs to be done is to find the darn place.
