I can see that you each have your reasons. I will say this however. While the Blades of Altea are an independent outfit, we are still an army. That means you should expect as much rigor in the field as much as you did in your previous occupations. We are not a charity, nor are we doing this for fun. We are guided by Altea herself, and we must do our best to protect the peoples no matter the situation. Now, I will first lead you to the village of Denn where we will--
A sudden flash in the sky attracts Alabaster's attention, directing his and the others' gaze towards the mountains.
By Altea's name...
Suddenly, the sky flashes with a fiery explosion as the ground quaked beneath their feet. The citizens of Arborvale scatter in fear, abandoning their festive cheer. Both Alabaster and Iremia's steeds are just as shaken as the ground beneath them trembled with a mighty quake. Alabaster sees the chaos around him, but his eyes belied a calmness within him. With a quick tug of his reins, he calmed his steed. Alabaster then turns towards you.
Quickly! Gather the townspeople and get them to safety! This is your first task as Blades! Once you have secured the townspeople, keep watch! I'm going to see what in blazes fell from the sky!
With a loud yell, Alabaster musters his steed in the direction of the blast and rode off with great speed. You now stand there, stunned by the turn of events, but the orders of the Master of the Blades ring in your ears.
Gather the townspeople and get them to safety.
