What I meant was that if we have, say, a dragonperson, and we're fighting a group of dragonpeople, I will not hesitate to use the ability despite a member of our team being of the same species. I wouldn't use it randomly, or for a one for one/two for one deal unless it was necessary, after all it just worsens the odds for surviving later. My character might be an ass, but I'm not planning to. Also if people are concerned as a whole I can change it to a single/directional target or something too.
@MB: Yeah he's also made to be easily exploitable - though I'm not entirely sure what you mean with the stats thing, since it's supposed to be based mostly around how people roleplay their characters/interactions with my character. He can be lied to and believe it (for a while at least), and if you can trick him into thinking you're human or that someone else is not human though (disguises, poor lighting, whatever), you're gold.
