"Seriously brain, what the hell?" A Thread For Weird Dreams and Nightmares

Once your body gets used to waking up at a certain time, your brain KNOWSSSS. >O I often wake up slightly before my alarm rings, in anticipation.

I had a dream with an actual nuclear explosion, once, and wrote it down... lemme find... the log... oh, it's actually got a recurring universe in it so I grouped the logs for three dreams together. If you see repetition somewhere it's because I was explaining things for people that weren't there in the previous log

mythee : Oh speaking of nightmares I had a great dream last night
mythee : So, I was some girl (GASP!) in Japan with a friend and I was driving the car at night
mythee : I was insisting on escaping the center of town because it was going to be bombed by a nuclear bomb soon
mythee : My friend was perplexed, she didn't think going out of town would work, the radiation would kill us off anyways

mythee : But I knew a building out there with a portal to a strange world. A kind of... video game that kidnaps you into its universe.
mythee : So we went. The building was actually La Palette, an art school close to my house in Montreal xP
mythee : But it's a different version of the building which has appeared in my dreams before. The portal and video game world that building is connected to as well.

Xenomorph-Queen : >.<

mythee : Daww Gage ;v; Get some rest! Have kool dreams!
mythee : So, right, me n' my friend we go into the oddly empty building. that belongs to someone else but we're being discreet and sneaking in and stuff
mythee : And only someone who has been to the vg world before can see where there is a "door", basically a portal in part of a wall. So I start looking. At some point I find it again and so we go in.
mythee : There
mythee : Is a guy who joins us along the way for some reason. He's also a friend of mine, I don't know who, but hey we knew each other somehow. And so I introduced him to my other friend

Xenomorph-Queen : That sounds like an awesome dream

mythee : We are now no longer in IRL. We are kind of in the entrance to the video game world. It is a large but closed space, we are standing on the rock edge of this space, who is filled with shimmering, completely clear water with waves
mythee : So yeah, we've escaped the nuclear bomb by then xDD

Xenomorph-Queen : XDDDD

Xenomorph-Queen : Yea. I've had a dream like that.

mythee : To the right we can see there is a wooden-looking arch, a tunnel. I know where it leads, I've had it in my dreams before. But we don't go there. We are all hesitant to go.

Xenomorph-Queen : I was Rafael in that dream.

mythee : It feels like we're inside of a huge tree, but it is all softly lit inside by gentle, orangey light
mythee : (XQ, how often are you Rafael? xDD0)
mythee : In this world we are capable of things, like transforming. My friend is excited by the water and wants to go for a swim. I get my buddy guy to teach her. They turn into fish, and play in the water
mythee : I watch by the shore, on the rock, thinking. I keep looking into the tunnel. There is no going back to my homeworld now. It would be dangerous. Radioactive. We would all die

Xenomorph-Queen : ((Thank god never, or very little))

mythee : I know we cannot stay in this area forever, there is no food. There is no life for us here. But that dark tunnel- will it let us go? I was concerned that it seemed like the maw of a beast, waiting to consume us- unworried, for we were already theirs.

mythee : Then I woke up.

Xenomorph-Queen : ((Always in that case))

mythee : xDD For some reason I've been trembling alot while recounting this dream. I still am. I guess it had a kind of super creepy feel that only I got

mythee : Oh, also, by the end of the dream a second guy appeared, who was also my friend
mythee : Idk where all these buddies are coming from xDDD

Xenomorph-Queen : Maybe it was me watching you while you slept.

mythee : Lol, what a cavernous mouth you have. I could tell you about the strange thriving universe in your stomach, too.

Xenomorph-Queen : Oh please do.
Xenomorph-Queen : I'd like to know.

mythee : Hmm... well, the tunnel is dark and very long. There are train tracks. It's kind of like walking in a strangely organic metro tunnel
mythee : The other side is a bright, RPG universe-worthy set of wild environments
mythee : Ah, to be honest I don't like the place much
mythee : We get hero abilities/powers and all in that universe but- ...I just realized one of the creepy things about it
mythee : It has a distinct lack of civilization. All the vegetation is huge, monstrous plants everywhere, beautiful land
mythee : As for animals, there are none
mythee : And people are so fragile in that world. Getting engulfed by things everywhere.

Xenomorph-Queen : Wow.
Xenomorph-Queen : That sounds like Urzaphel's levels.

mythee : I would not want to visit those places xDD Haha ...I've been on a sort of aerial train tour in that world before. It was my first dream with it

mythee: There's a recurring world in my dreams
mythee: The entry and exit are like a very dark, long, metro/train tunnel
mythee: It's so dark you can't see a thing; there is the sound of dripping water everywhere
mythee: And it is cold and wet
mythee: It is like a cavernous maw, trying to engulf you
Now, on the other side however...
mythee: There is a very bright, vast RPG universe-worthy set of environments
mythee: The plants are monstrous huge, it is wild and bursting with verdance and beautiful but gigantic nature
mythee: And in this world, people are very few and far between as well as very fragile.
mythee: A person in these dreams with me is dead in no time.
mythee: If you see a new character, don't expect them to be safe for long.
Anyways, to begin with the story of one of these dreams...
mythee: The one with the most people in it! 8DD
There's a train ride tour going through a magnificent jungle of giant plants and shit
mythee: Wherein we stop at places with brick ruins
mythee: Places that look familiar, but are all overgrown and broken down
mythee: And there are lots of people- like school teenagers and stuff in the steampunk train with me
mythee: This train is more like a cart, it is suspended from an aerial cable at some places, some other places it is on a bridge track
mythee: In any case, the tour seems normal enough until a point where it suddenly stops in its tracks
mythee: There is suspense, there seems to be a problem.
mythee: Some panicked voices are heard, and then a loud scream. I and those around me realize some people have started falling out of the train
mythee: And so I look outside and we are being attacked with some gargantuan, black slime mold
mythee: Its ebony flesh is basically this tar-like slime, viscous and whiplike
mythee: It grabs the people one by one, absorbing them in screams.
mythee: Of course, I want to save the expedition- I jump out to attack the monster, somehow blessed with great athletic ability
mythee: And wrestle the monster with franticness but it continues to eat people
mythee: While fighting me :T
mythee: It continues until I am the only one left alive, just me and the slime mold
mythee: Epic battle for life ensues
mythee: But during the course of it, I notice... that I've been gradually turning into something black and viscous like the sime mold monster
mythee: And in the end of the dream, in horror at what we are, we are the same thing, fighting against each other.
mythee: Then I wake up.
mythee : Ffff, shiversss @-@;;

Xenomorph-Queen : Wow Mythee.

mythee : With dreams like mine, no wonder horror movies are just a big joke to me lololol xDDD
mythee : And then I had two reccurring location dreams- in the same world, not the same place exactly. One is the one I started telling you, with my friends playing fishes which was cute and fun
mythee : The other time, before that, I was in the world (actually went through the tunnel again) and there were no more people on the other side.
mythee : And then I spent the rest of that dream trying to come back through the tunnel, but instead of waking up I just felt like I spent a whole lot of time in the dark tripping over train tracks.
mythee : That was a boring dream. >:T *disappoint*
mythee : RIGHT SO. I'M DONE TELLING YOU ABOUT THAT UNIVERSE. Lol.
mythee : We are so not going there in our RP. 8'DD
