The Mondo Ruction Infinity Minus 0.5 - ROUND 1 - The Crystal Rose Hotel & Resort

Again Again. We're already bored.

"Welcome to the Mondo Ruction Infinity Minus Zero Point Five."

Steter. A symbol of Imperial might. A resplendent golden machine. Nursemaid, housekeeper, bodyguard and companion to the reclusive young Empress. Their form is uniquely adaptable to deal with almost any conceivable situation (according to their manufacturers). Alone for so long the soul that powered them has withered away to almost nothing and their programming has perhaps become erratic.

Noise. A teen hero with a superpower that allows them to become sound. They move fast, they punch hard and they can pass through any material that isn't soundproofed. They take their heroism very seriously and have all but abandoned their civilian life.

Thane. A foolish boy who in an attempt to prove his masculinity and heroism surrendered his body to the vestiges of an ancient unfathomable evil. His body has undergone a cruel transformation, becoming more and more physically twisted to comfortably contain the old one that now resides inside it.

Thatix. A swarm of fireflies that ate a paranoid old witch and absorbed her soul. Corrupted by the magical fallout of the battle that killed her Thatix, reborn through the fireflies she now inhabits, is perhaps more powerful than before, though substantially less sane.

Dove. A devoted servant of the Soul of the World. She dedicated her life to destroying the parasitic humans who had harmed her world irreparably. For her service, her body was reshaped transcending her own humanity and turning her into an unstoppable avatar of nature's wrath.

Doctor Moira Lain. Some would say that Doctor Lain's experiment to infuse herself with the essence of the storm was pseudoscientific gibberish or a catastrophic failure or both. True her physical body was destroyed in the process, but she lives on as what she has dubbed an 'electrowraith'. Having shed her humanity she seeks to continue her experiments, this time with the world at large as her laboratory.

Detective Carl Garland. He is an ordinary detective who has he dedicated himself to the search for the nefarious Rikollisryhmä Kingpin. Equipped with no more than his trusty black convertible Officer Betsy, a car boot full of wine and hastily printed documents, and an extremely ratty notebook. Somehow he has died, seen the vast highways of Carcadia, and then cheated death to return to his day job. There's no doubt in his mind that this is all some elaborate Rikollisryhmä plot.

Conswarm Sigma. A nanobot construction swarm. Her core is a small floating mechanical sphere coated in a thick layer of protective synthetic skin, around which the nanobot swarm operates. She is designed to have a basic level of intelligence to allow her to interact with human coworkers, and was given a flirty friendly personality so as to better cooperate with others. She is capable of extreme deconstruction and reconstruction on an atomic level.

Battle to the death. Seven rounds. Seven contestants. You know the drill.

With that the eight contestants were dumped into their first round: The Crystal Rose Hotel and Resort based in the intoxicating plane of love.
