Need some music suggestions for my 4th of July community barbecue

Thanks for the consideration OP. I went and did some research on the Fourth of July and I think I have a couple of more appropriate tracks that maybe you might enjoy

What lovely picks! They talk about celebrating and everything. And that last one is called 4th of July! I'm starting to feel a little silly that I could have just searched that one for myself.

Now Ixcaliber, I knew I had to look out for you, you joker. That song is called "Lake of Fire" and while I do enjoy a little Johnny Cash myself now and again, It doesn't seem appropriate to play a song about the bad place when celebrating Democracy's birthday.

I might not be in the USA but I've always been fascinated with the american tv shows, american art, and, most of all, american music!

Here are some songs I thought might be perfect for the occasion. Some old, some not as old, some almost new!

These are all excellent picks! I hadn't heard of these singers myself but I know everyone will love them! I love how Mr. Melloncamp sings about America as the home of the free! And I've been on the hunt for a good tribute to our service members.

Now, Mr. Paxton does sing about school, which is lovely, but he also has the same name as our future state senator. I mean, Mr. future Senator Paxton has done a lot of things that make me very uncomfortable. But the brochures they hand out at the polling places let me and my friends know we're supposed to vote for him, so I'm sure he has a lot of fans and I don't want me being uncomfortable to make someone else uncomfortable so I think I may keep this one off the list for now.

The last thing I want people to think about during the 4th of July is politics.

I think I might've heard a naughty word at some point, but it seems like the right kind of message; everyone wants their kids to go far in life.

Oh I'm sorry but swears are a no-go for this party. Do you think they may have recorded a version for the radio I could use?

I'm thinking of holding a Violence Day Barbecue and I need some good YouTube video essays I can put on to entrance my competitors and lure them into a fugue state while I take the opportunity to steal their wallets. Anybody got any suggestions?
