I'm not sure why I'm suggesting this.

This is probably the best way to keep Connie safe; while the "attack-deflecting shield" idea might end incredibly poorly, as long as it doesn't wind up injuring CC it hopefully won't make things worse.

It seems like it'd be rough trying to get a sense of what's up in the middle of the dark like that. Speaking of light and sight...

Maybe Philia and/or Phobia should run off, to see if they can get some help from the others. I bet someone like Jose in particular - who can actively use water as a weapon - would be pretty handy to have around for fighting off all this goo...
