"Personally, my Merchant's Senses are guiding me toward Lake Ka. It'd be a good place to resupply, and if we can keep our wits about us, we'll be home-free in no time at all. The water the river provides is good and all, but it also means we put our supplies at risk if there's any flooding, and we're totally dependent on old infrastructure to still be there. This'll be a bit harder on our navigators, but I've got a good sense of direction! Besides, the river'll be there one way or another - if we reforge some of these old trails, we might be able to connect our little settlement to some other towns and breathe life into things. Out with the old bridges, in with the new trails! That's my vote, anyways."
She grins. "If everyone else wants to follow the river, that's fine by me - but I think the lake gives us the best chances for this journey, and gives us a chance at starting up future journeys."
