Ahem. The rest of what Lain says doesn't make it any easier to correct her demeanor as her eyes glaze over, but Maz does her best to summon a smile!

For a moment she pauses, hesitating before adding, "I will also let you know that many-- even acolytes-- feel that sort of doubt. It is normal, and natural, and I doubt she thinks any less of you for it." Or goodness, Maz hopes not.
