At some point later, Casey seeks out Lain. He isn't sure why at first. Perhaps it's simply that he hopes to find comfort speaking with someone else from his home. It's awkward when he approaches her, as he's unsure how to unpack his thoughts. 



After a few moments of uncertainty, he begins with, "Had you ever left Achaim before now?"
