There's a small flush to Mazelina's cheeks at the attention paid to her. Sure, she's supposed to be humble and modest and do good regardless of appreciation-- and she does! It's just...also nice to be appreciated.

And scared. Hell, she's wary and scared of other humans at this point, too. Everything is upside down. Maybe she's right to just be afraid of everyone. "I'm ready to move when you are, sir.
