Yeah i agree, i don't think he's that bad though but that's only because there are much worse in my opinion, scientist shark dude is at least a bit charming and my reasoning for that is that he's a short, chubby and nerdy science shark-man who's also a sports nerd, he has several things going on for him (even if they're not original). He wouldn't be an extremely incompetent/joke character either like Norimaro, which is great. Fucking Fillia is worse than that.

Personally, i find the blatant rip-offs more offensive. You can't pretend Molly is a different character than Tron Bonne, Hive even has Q-bee's hive hands, or the worst of the worst, Regina a.k.a. Ruby Heart with a different palette. They don't feel "inspired" by those characters, they look like alternate forms of them. Eliza is one that's obviously inspired by Jedah and Anakaris, but also has her own thing going on with the staff, vampirism and living skeleton thing.

If i were to vote I'd vote for Eliza or Beowulf, maybe the bard dude but i'm not sure if the living instrument thing has been done before (that witch chick from guilty gear? I don't remember).

I'm content with both Squiggly and Big Band though.
