Oops, sorry! I forgot people who don't play the game would read that, as dumb as it sounds.

"wat rings u got bitch" = A minor meme within the Dark Souls community. May or may not be comprehensible to Red; I probably shouldn't have mentioned it at all.
"SL" = Soul Level, or your character's level. Players must be within a specific range of each other's SL in order to do co-op.
"4kids" = The 4 Kings, a boss known for being particularly nasty, especially in...
"NG+" = New Game+. Pumps up all enemy health and damage output.
"darkwraithing" = Being a member of a Covenant (a group in the game designed by the developers that grants you special items) called the Darkwraiths who invade other worlds for the purposes of PvP.
"Kaathe" = Ingame NPC who allows you to join the Darkwraiths. You have to beat the 4 Kings at a specific point in the game to get to him.

they're not THAT hard if you have a weapon that's at least moderately fast, deals plenty of damage and you put on something with enough poise

Poise: a stat that determines how easy it is to flinch a character. Basically, poise is your best friend because if you have no poise you will get stunlocked by anything and everything

Chaos Great Scythe +5: The Great Scythe weapon, fully upgraded along the Chaos path. Basically that means it does split physical/fire damage and its power scales with humanity.

Vit: Health stat. each point in Vit (vitality) adds a certain amount to your HP
End: Endurance. Each point in this stat (up to 40) adds a certain amount to your endurance and how much weight you can equip without being slowed down. after 40 it only increases your carry weight

Havels: the armor of Havel the Rock, who we shall not get into because story is not super clearly defined in Dark Souls (intentionally). It has the highest Poise in the game. It is also the heaviest. This is because it is MADE OF SOLID ROCK.

Humanity: one of the most important aspects of the game. Humanity lets you take on "Human Form" which lets you co-op and PvP (basically if you die, you respawn as a "Hollow", you have to use a humanity item or get "loose" humanity in some other way [there are several], then go to a bonfire (spawn point) and turn human to actually play online). in addition, it adds small bonuses to all of your stats per "loose" humanity you have on you, up to 99; it also drastically increases your drop rate (only up to the first 10) and causes weapons that scale with humanity (mainly Chaos upgraded weapons) to experience an increase in damage total (also only up to 10)

Giant's Dad: A style of character build in Dark Souls PvP, popularized by This video by OnlyAfro. The premise is incredibly annoying, far too common and difficult to counter: It's a min-max build. The concept is to have as much poise as possible without giving up mobility as you would normally have to. The normal problem with this would be that it requires a ridiculous amount of levels into the endurance stat, which cripples your other stats, making it harder to wield weapons. the workaround: Use a weapon that doesn't scale with your stats. It's the originator of the "wut rings u got bitch" meme. unfortunately. The nickname comes from the fact that the armor used to create the effect is the helm "Mask of the Father" (which is extremely ugly, like the other two Masks in its series), an item that increases your equip load, and then the chestpiece, gauntlets and leggings of the Giant Armor set, one of the heaviest armors in the game; and therefore one of the sets with the highest poise. Too many people who see that video or have heard of the build think it's SO GOOD so they immediately go for that build. And thus there are a million of them, they're a pain in the ass to fight because they usually can't be knocked out of an attack and will just walk through any source of damage, run around and backstab you. If you know the build's weaknesses, it's easy to kill them but it's still Not Fun to fight them

Other miscellaneous things:

Invading: More specifically, PvP in Dark Souls works like this: If a player is in an area where they have not killed the boss yet, and they are in Human form, they have a chance of being "invaded" by another player who used a method of invasion, and are forced to fight that player unless they disconnect or challenge the boss. The enemy player is treated as an enemy - enemies do not attack them and cannot harm them, nor can the enemy player harm enemies.

Backstab: there exists a window on all PCs and most humanoid NPCs where if you press the light attack button while facing it, you will enter a backstab animation and deal several times more damage to the target than you would have just hitting them. There is a similar technique, parrying and riposting.

Parrying: with many items, especially shields and fast weapons, as well as bare hands or any item that uses one's hands, if it is equipped in the left hand then pressing the parry button will initiate the parry animation. if you correctly time this action when an opponent that can be parried attacks (generally humanoids/anything you can backstab), then the opponent's weapon will be knocked away and they will be stunned for a second or two. if you are close enough to them while they are in this state and you press the light attack button, you will enter a riposte animation and hit them for critical damage. Ripostes deal more damage than backstabs, but are harder to perform.

Hornet Ring: The hornet ring is an item - a ring, basically one of the two powerful accessories you can have equipped at any time. its effect is to vastly increase Critical damage; or in other words it makes backstabs and ripostes even more powerful than they already are. and a normal backstab/riposte deals two to three times the base damage you inflict with a light swing.

Gold Tracer: Gold Tracer is a weapon. A very specific weapon. Its specific move set basically lets you tap the light attack button repeatedly and you can easily chain a long, fast combo together. however, unlike most weapons with that sort of move set, it deals more damage to poise - so it can generally break a target's poise faster than most other weapons and continue to attack them while their poise is broken, meaning it stunlocks opponents very very easily. :/
