Puzzler's Space

Puzzle 1: The supplies should be left as a sacrifice to the god of unfinished things, whose name should not be remembered. To accomplish this, the merchant should forget that he did not build the dam, retaining only a slight confusion that it does not look the way he had planned it.

Puzzle 2: Apprentice to whom? It is not safe to leave yet, not to answer, until the provenance of the apprentice is known.

Puzzle 3: The flowing water of the river is the best implement to use - but be careful that it does not take all your land away!
