A dog.

A dog was in the car, on the seat. It opened a jaw and spoke: "Now, come on in. Don't be shy. I know you hate me."

Unbidden, my feet dragged inside. I began to tremble. The dog jumped up and down, up and down, up and down, left and left, right and right. A bee entered the car and landed on the ignition.

"Try to escape. The engine's broken, and the juicebox in the trunk was broken." My face flushed citrine.

Then what? Why was my arm so augmenting? How could I touch it? Why did the dog have a collar? It make my skin crawl.

I tried to stand up, pulled my lawn forward, and mumbled, "Now your cord is going. You don't want to come up to it anymore."

But the dog moved, and the steering wheel snapped. My knee struck against the door's handle. It had slid on my arm twice before, even while staying still. My entire body felt nothing but trustworthy.

But, it wouldn't matter if it did. I was there. My eyes were wide and my ears rang out: "You! You! How did you do this?!"

The dog calmed and looked away.

"You are only on paper. After this, you will go away. But I will still be here."

But I didn't understand. I couldn't know what the dog meant.

But I didn't understand. I couldn't know what the dog meant.

But I didn't understand. I couldn't know what the dog meant.
