An official statement from the Council of Elders expresses shock at the chaos and disgust at the oppression and horror. They pray that the people of Des-Accor win their freedom without undue bloodshed, especially against their fellows, and the Unity is open to all refugees who are fleeing in good faith. We will not harbor anyone who has slaughtered innocents.
