The Deputy was getting tired because a distant god in a far off universe certainly was. He asked about Díuc MkFieldan's phrasing, as it implied that there was some reason they shouldn't give it back immediately, and he wanted to make sure that this was settled since (and he did not say this) the entire point of this thing was supposed to be to formulate a plan or something about, I dunno, the emergency.
