Sure, the ship was quite cheap for it's size and armor. However, the Pluven-35 was what could only be described as a function-over-form monstrosity.

Some how, some way, this thing has point defense, excellent armor, and, amazingly, a cloaking device to boot. Logical, given its sluggish speed.
