Thine Immortal Rock

After a millennia, a figure darkens the door to your chamber once more. Their head peeks in from outside of the doorway suddenly and they scan the room with their eyeballs. They lock on to you.

“Hey, cool. It is in here.” He speaks thusly. You sense that he is alone so it is odd that he chooses to vocalize this thought.

He approaches you and holds his hands over the translucent barrier that separates you from your chamber. He slowly lowers his hands until he is making contact with your shield. He hefts it up and flings it across the room. It shatters against the far wall with a crash. Such strength!



He picks you up and looks at you intently. “I beseech you, stone. Pray tell me the knowledge that I seek.” He say. His voice is calm, unwavering, possibly uninterested. You hear him mutter under his breath how nobody talks like that anymore and that it sounds pretty stupid. What wisdom do you impart onto him?
