RE: Delete the Virus

Quote:Action 1: Kit meows, "Ooh, shiny glowing thing. Majestic." He then proceeds to to pull out a small game console. On the screen there are two completely black cats holding hammers. A small arrow comes down and both cats swing their hammers. A number appears above each and the higher number gets some points. Kit plays a few rounds of this, winning about half of them by just a few points. Finally, he snaps the machine in half. A black light explodes out of the machine and a black hammer appears out of it. Kit takes this hammer and gets in front of the fort. He waits patiently, standing there with his eyes closed. An arrow falls out of the sky. It comes in between Kit and the fort and it disappears. At the very moment it disappears, Kit slams the hammer down on the fort. A number in a box appears above Kit. It reads:
`````___
Kit |10|
This mythical hit crushes the fort under it.
Action 2: "Ah ha! I have fed the mites. This means that they accept my gifts and are now on my... you know what... they just annoy everyone anyways. Meh." Kit has now meowed. Kit breathes in and breathes out. He then lets out a savage meow and stares very intently at the fortress. He tries again, this time staring before hissing. As he lets out his scream, two lasers come out of his eyes. These fly straight at the fortress, cutting through its very code.
Summoning Cat God: 11/30
As the hammer makes contact, cracks appear in the code Fortress, signifying a destructive hit! 6 damage!
Kits Meoweye lasers cut through the fortress, leaving two large holes in their wake, though they are quickly repaired, the damage is still done! 7 damage!
Quote:the dragon continues to shoot the gun.png for both it’s actions.
(Charge 9/10)
Unfortunately, you’re gun.png jams after the first bullet! You manage to deal 2 damage, though.
Quote:Action 1:An electronic screech can be heard form the Virus, inboth annoyance and surprise, as it is attacked by you! 4 damage! Damn these players, why can’t they just let it fulfill it’s goal that will probably cause irreversible damage to human civilization!?
As the virus is frantically attempting to connect, naturally a mistake that its almost perfect mind would naturally catch gets missed. At first, it thinks it went through, considering that the server it connected to is also normally isolated and meant for the sole programming of one thing only...
It's only afted the claws dig into it that it realizes this was a trap, made at the right opportunity to damage the Virus even though it's still in the fort! They tear out chunks of its HP, before dissolving the code into readable formats. These readable formats manifest themselves into paper, which is then absorbed by....
ANOTHER PLAYER!? DAMN IT! Or so the Virus thinks before leaving, its attempt to reconnect to its origin server thwarted for this turn.
The player enters the battlefield! However, he's hidden behind seven proxies, and as such his description is only a nondescript shadow! The player analyzes the data as he thinks up a battle plan. This fucker shall not ruin his attempt to revive his avantgarde roleplaying quest idea on Eagle Time!
Action 2:
Aha, a fortess! The best way to ruin these is from the inside, but the only way in is through a doggy door?
Good thing no one has summoned a Good Boy yet!
The Player refashions a counter-virus into a Dog shape, allowing it to infiltrate the fortress! It's job isn't to damage it, though. It's just to open the front gates! With those open....
Action 3:
The Player, from scratch, recodes an Adult Link from Ocarina of Time! The tweak he makes though, allows it to connect to his virtual controller. While the front gates are open, he leads Link inside, fully equipped and stocked, and wreaks merry havoc on the insides, making sure to bomb walls frequently for secret doorways or passages. And to just ruin the fort's structural integrity some more.
But mostly, it's about the treasure chests and loot. The Good Boy counter-virus follows Link, now acting as backup to the mobile drone-like entity! Since it's a Good Boy, it sticks with its master loyally! Good boy!
You summon the GOOD BOY! Aww, look at that happy lil fella! So cute! He gets inside the fortress, and finds the controls for the Front Gate!
You summon Link as well, who is controlled by your Virtual Controller. The Front Gate stays open long enough for The Hero Of Time to enter, followed by his new companion, The Good Boy!
The Fortress was not designed for loot or really any sort of habitation outside of The Virus, so Link is unable to find any sort of treasure. The structural damage definitely happens though, 5 damage!
Quote:(Action 1)
"Looks like we're in. I'm worried that the Virus or Origin Server may have its own defenses... Let me deal with that."
Sam deploys a one-shot Tor Node that will protect him or the Scout Team from attack.
(Action 2)
"Now that we've gotten that over with, let's ensure that HQ and the rest of the players receive this data."
Sam establishes a Data Link back to the Battlefield and the NATO Command Center that will transfer all of the data they view in the Origin Server.
(Action 3)
"Okay, let's do this."
Sam and the Scout Team examine the Archives.
Your Tor Node is active, you’ll be protected from any sort of attack that hits you next, for one time only.
The data link is active! Everyone you intended will now have instant access to this data.
The Archives present the following information:
“3-15-16. I know the truth. It’s been presented to me. I know my destiny and it is pure......We’ve set up this server to develop our destiny, so that the world may know the truth that we have. It’s time.”
“4-3-16. We’ve gotten more members! More people have seen the truth, and we have a perfect spot for them in this destiny.”
There seems to be some missing entries from the data, and the next few entries skip forward from time to time.
“8-19-17. We’ve refined our program. Much of the data it was copying before was not relevant. Now, it’s only trawling for the most important data, to very specific specifications. We’re gonna be moving a lot faster now”
“7-27-18. It’s done. Everything that matters has been copied and safely stored. We’re ready, and very soon, our perfect weapon will be unleashed. It’s time.”
That’s the end of the entries. It’s obvious that many of them are missing, possibly encrypted, but it’s hard to tell how to recover them now.
The Battlefield:
The Virus senses Link and his adorable companion within it’s fortress. It summons up a new set of Mites from the factory, and they begin crawling and rushing to find Link. Next turn, Mites vs Link and The Good Boy!
Speaking of Mites, the ones outside the fortress have finished eating paper and are now tuckered out, so they decide to take a nap! Wow, they’re kind of useless.
