This is illogical. As the cameras usually use 50 megawatts an hour when just reporting surroundings, there isn't a reason to lower their power from that. However, you can use less power for the control system, giving you less information on your ship but using less power. As you only really need to check on hull integrity when something is obviously very wrong and very changing, you set it to use 100 MW/h instead of the normal 200.
