You decide to bake some cookies. It's not very special or creative but it's something.
Fortuna rolls a 20 sided die.
A 7 is rolled.
You ended up burning the cookies a little bit, but they are still edible.
You walk over to Leads house and ring the doorbell. They open the door.
As your eating cookies, you talk with Lead about how you want to get a major in Navigation. This is when you learn a life changing fact.
"Yes!"
It hugs you, being careful of your back.
"Now, lets call up Stormy. Lets get decided on a ship."
You, Lead and Stormy are all looking though a catalog of ships that would best suit your intended purpose.
There's "The Apollo". It has decent defense but isn't that fast, which isn't good for traveling.
There's "The Artemis". It has better shields then "The Apollo", the same speed, but not being able to use a simple beam weapon may be an issue. It is cheaper.
There's "The Athena". Good shields and speed, but costs a bit more due to it being a higher quality ship.
There's the "Speedster". The best speed, but the worst shields. Not really special besides its ironically low carrying capacity for AI's meant to be mail-bots. Costs more but not as much.
There's the "Reusable kamikaze". It has the best shields and speed topped only by Hermes' ship. Pricey.
There's "Ship". A Ship with generic speed and shields, in-fact, the only non-generic thing about this ship is its low price. No AI.
There's an assortment of other ships to, all with no AI. The catalog says to E-mail the dealer to get more info. (just ask if you dont like any of the above ships)

"Hey!"
"Hey. I baked some cookies.""Oh, nice. Come on in."
You step inside. As your eating cookies, you talk with Lead about how you want to get a major in Navigation. This is when you learn a life changing fact.
"Did you know you don't need a degree to be a navigator for small ships? Only large ones"
"... Your joking.""Nope. That money you got would be better spent towards a ship and a license for said ship."
"That's great!""If you me and stormy all put the money together, then we might be able to get a ship right now!"
"I thought you were going to stay on Taiaptor?""Well... i was but..."
It glances at you. "That brings me to a question I wanted to ask... do you want to be my boyfriend?"
This is great. The love of your life reveals they are in love to, and that you could get a ship right now. "Yes!"
