Whether or not there is strategy to it, I am absolutely 100% convinced that Mafia is complete and utter rubbish as a roleplaying game.

True story: In my first ever mafia game, we spent the majority of day one arguing with the cop about whether "Everyone sleeps in the same room at night and people take turns keeping watch" was really a legitimate strategy for winning the game.
