yeah, this whole Thing between Acio and Seedy has felt like the same kind of Thing what happened with aC/BC earlier today; repeated hounding based on miscommunication/misinterpretation. if you're asking someone questions, and one of the questions you end up asking is "why won't you answer my questions?" and the answer is "I did" and this happens multiple times, then Something Has Gone Wrong. Incidentally, that ties into that whole "I might regret this" thing what I said earlier: I wasn't convinced that my own vote for aC wasn't... an OMGUS? is that the right usage? based on a dislike of specific technique or attitude, rather than identifiable long-term patterns of behavior. hence also why I was so willing to swap votes to Sai, once I led myself to that whole conclusion.
At this stage, I do not think aC and BC are both scum. Like, it's still theoretically possible? But it's too wacky for me to put stock in rn, especially after the what-feels-like-wholly-unnecessary roleclaim from Blazer, accompanied by aC's complete lack of self-defense. it's just. that's not galaxy-brain, that's universe-brain. if they're both mafia and this all works to keikaku then they don't deserve to win so much as we deserve to lose, y'know?
the shortlist:
there was gonna be a "the longlist" but not author needs food badly. I'll be back, uh... probably not until tomorrow evening, actually. whoops?
incidentally, @Palamedes, I'm... still voting for Sai...? so I'm not sure what you meant in #450 when you said I "retracted." Clarify?

I know I didn't phrase that as a question, but could you give some solid reads? If you think Blazer and aC could be pulling some crazy scum gambit, what are your thoughts on the more notable commenters on the argument?
