also wrt ac's play sometimes people are put in the position of "pretending to be town" who aren't actually that good at seeming town when they ARE town
the "d1 bad" stuff is definitely honest imo, and this weirdness about voting and pressuring could easily be them attempting to be "true to how they feel about the game" and "stick to values and behavior they feel like their town self would." sometimes you just aren't that good at simulating a fake townself that's divorced from your scum inclinations but you keep it up anyways cuz it seems like the right thing to do. the insistence on their neutralness feels like that kind of "well I feel neutral, so I should say that, because that's definitely what I would say anyways as town" attitude
