Based on D2 so far, I read neither BlazerC and awkwardCarapace confrontation to stem mostly from miscommunication and frustration, rather than Levied Intent. Blazer seems invested in asking questions, AC seems invested in answering them, and both of those things Feel Good to me. Neither of their approaches to these things have felt good, but I'm not sure how much stock to put into that. I will say I don't much care for AC's "people who dislike Blazer are (some degree of) cool in my book" thing what's going on, and would be more inclined to believe they're scum than Blazer... but... I'm still not sure if--

oh hey! AC posted while I was typing this and needled Blazer on points where I can readily relate to Blazer on. I'd give it a 70% chance I'll regret this later, but!

Okay! That out of the way, in the interest of getting Literally Anything Else Done Today, here's some callouts!

@Schazer, still wondering about that cryptic The Boot mention from daystart. Also, in the interest of sating my paranoia: however improbable we both think it, the possibility exists that AC and BC are engaging in some kinda galaxy-brain gambit, wherein both are scum trying to ensure one survives by shining a light on how un-aligned they are. Now, it's super-implausible and probably a figment of my overactive imagination, but could you elaborate on why you're confident that's not happening? or, more critically: Why could specifically Blazer be scum, but not AC?

@Slorange, @TehPilot, @Sai: life's a whirlwind, I know. Just let us know yr still around, yeah? here's a "fun" and "valuable" question for you, when you arrive: what're your reads on each other

@BlazerC, on D1 you suggested Pharms and Sai might be aligned (#202 - #204). I know we don't have anything yet from today to go off of, and, honestly? Sai didn't give us a lot to work with on D1. However, now that Pharms' flipped Scum: do you stand by that assertion? Is Sai plausibly Scum?

[/b]@Numbers[b], to cap things off: Palamedes and Coldblooded both strike me as experienced players with particular ideas about how things Ought to go. Palamedes seems more annoyed(?) that they're Not Going Like That, while Coldblooded seems more confused. No read as yet, though my gremlin brain tends to turn "no read, but is keeping things moving" into "plausible townie," so. grains of salt, and all that.

Oh, and while I'm here: to the best of my knowledge, I don't have a typing quirk. Taking on a persona helps me break out of my shell, sometimes, and there's plenty of people here who can tell you how Getting Me To Write Shit is a Sisyphean feat. Anything I can do to get myself to get up and out there is a win in my book, however snooty and non-helpful I may end up as a result. my bad.

Anyone else got questions for me? I tend to work better with a framework to build from.
