Actually, you got it! It's the libration diagram of a two planets. The two planets' orbital ratios are synced: the ratio between the subject planet's (centre) orbital period and the object planet's (green) orbital period around the parent body (yellow) is:

(And yes I pronounce Homestuck this way and at times I do spell it that way. I don't know why. It may be a defense mechanism against unwarranted flame-bait. Or maybe it's just me being uncomfortable around names.)
