Anytime the AI got anywhere even slightly close to the oomn, she instinctively flinched a bit. The oomn tried to always keep a line of sight on the spooper, even though, in her 'shopping' she moved from place to place, feigning interest in the products stocked throughout the store. All she had to do is bide her time until the moment was right.

I guess the AI is out of action???
