There's only one solution: bribe the Sportball Authority into drastically changing the rules of the game so you have a chance at winning it.

Bribing sounds like a good solution, even though you're a good bird and wouldn't normally resort to something like it under normal circumstances. However, you only have some spare change which is roughly the same amount needed for registering in the tournament thingie. Perhaps there's another way?
