You: You gotta love useless AIs. I got Helios as my other patron.
SpeedyPiPython: I've heard.
SpeedyPiPython: Helios makes sense for what you are. He's a good AI for newbies who didn't learn enough from the tutorial. It's a complex game so there's no way anyone would learn enough from the tutorial anyway.
SpeedyPiPython: For the sun god run though? Not going to be much help. Not that anyone seems like much help.
You: Have you ever done the sun god run?
SpeedyPiPython: That's a complicated question.
SpeedyPiPython: I've done a lot of things. That's really all I can say on the matter.
You: Oh, alright I suppose.
You: Why do you feel like Kratos is useless anyway. That doesn't seem like a favorite sort of situation.
SpeedyPiPython: Let me make that more clear.
SpeedyPiPython: Kratos is useless for speedruns. He's not very good at keeping the pace up, and his main skill requires protecting the captain.
SpeedyPiPython: His lectures require more presses than most other AIs to pass, losing whole seconds in the process.
SpeedyPiPython: He's at his best when he has another patron with him that boosts his skills, like Circe who negates the negates effects of Kratos, while Kratos makes sure Circe's negative effect doesn't come into play except in the more dire of situations.
SpeedyPiPython: There's also at least one god whose power gets stronger the lower morale is. Kratos makes sure what when you're at your worse, aka, when your captain dies, that the power of the other god will be at its absolute highest.
SpeedyPiPython: But having a second patron means that your patrons are more likely to talk at random intervals, which can quickly cut out whole minutes of longer runs.
You: Oh cool, I'm not speedrunning so there's still some hope!
SpeedyPiPython: I don't think Helios provides any kind of boost or protection to Kratos' skills.
You: Welp.
