Mexico, 1997:
Twenty one bandits escape Pablo Ano Institute after an explosion tore a hole through the prison cafeteria wall.
They call themselves the "Crooks of the Hollow", a name inspired by the notoriously famous group of criminals in Ontario, Canada. They are armed, dangerous and organized.

However, as one might expect from criminals of bloody histories, they are not without inner conflicts. It is rumored that a small niche of the members are secretly plotting to usurp the group. Perhaps they are vigilantes, seeking to remedy their tarnished past with bloody massacre. Maybe they seek to control the group for themselves. Who knows; it could all be a rumor.

GAME SPECIFIC RULES:
This is a Desperado Closed-Style Game of Mafia.
In the Crooks Hollow series of games, the town and scum nearly all have guns.
Provided that the following conditions are met, any role that has not been told otherwise may shoot their gun during the day:
  • If you are presently being voted by 33% or more of all living players, you cannot shoot your gun.
  • If you are barred from firing a gun, you cannot shoot your gun.
  • If you shoot your gun, you and your target are killed and the day is extended.
  • If a "gunban" is in effect, you cannot use your gun.
  • If you survive, you cannot shoot your gun again.
  • Exception to the first point: if only one or two people make up the 33%, you may shoot your gun at any time provided all other conditions are met.
  • No more than two gunshots a day.

Scum will have daychat, but the nightkiller will not have access to the daychat.
I.E. Scumteam is John, Doe, and Katri. Katri makes the nightkill Night 1, so only John and Doe can communicate during Day 2.
Day 1 as such will have the full scumteam in chat. If the scumteam chooses not to make a nightkill, they may all participate in daychat.


Notes:
- There are no writing quirk roles.
- There are no Karkats/Governors.
- There might be third parties.
- There might be a third party faction, if there are third parties.
- There might not be roles that are the same as those of the previous Crooks Hollow.
- Expect a doctor and a backup scum.
- There might be warlocks.
- There are no useless actions.
