RE: Nostalgfia Day 2 - Death comes at some time

Hate to be so late getting back to this. Still steadily going mad RE: work. This is likely to continue.
The scummy flailing that followed the questions wasn't something I expected, but hey, bonus! I was mainly leaning on 'em to snoop for evidence of item fakeclaiming, as both a tiny tell, and as some kind of hard info to work from when assessing their tone, and their actions for honesty vs. manipulation. CSJ claimed an item someone else had (Recipe Book), and so far we've had tons of unique items, so it seemed a little unlikely to me.
I notice you're still tunnel-visioning on me to the point that you're even doubting your own reads, and I want to ask you to check yourself. That said, I'll echo what you said RE: not being a fan of people voting for CSJ with no reason. Same goes for those voting for anyone without reason (especially when they claim other suspicions!), or even those willfully abstaining.
Y'all who are doing that, listen up: we've got to think for ourselves, and have to participate, or we're handing the scum team the power to shape lynch votes. Trust your gut if you have to. Just be sure you're not going with whoever shouts loudest.
Two things. First, manipulative behavior is pretty stinky. To my knowledge there was no indication whatsoever that split-lynching was a mechanic, and it's much more sensible to think that a tied vote would end in a no-lynch like normal. I assume this was a way of hoping to fool folks into tying a vote so they'd no-lynch again, and keep you alive for a night?
Secondly, my vote on Pharmacy was because they "trusted me and found me helpful" yet apologized and tried to kill me Day 1, were waffley with votes today, and abstained from scum-hunting, voting, or having any suspicions as soon as attention was turned their way. Also, Pharms claimed an item someone else had too (Toilet Paper Tube) so while not a scum tell, I do find that a bit suspect too. But you're right in saying they're not the best scum suspect I can see right now.
CSJ, if I've got your case straight:
The entire scum team may be lurking, so we should lynch lurkers before suspicious players. Your main suspicion is Cat for talking a lot about night actions, which you deem "Basically lurking." But also also you would like to convince people to vote for Nercania because Wheat is voting for them, despite offering no reason other than "We need to kill SOMEONE today." Also also also, you've kept caving on your votes as soon as there's any pressure; you seem to want to buddy with folks (myself included) pretty hard, vote for whoever's easiest to kill, and are people-pleasing up a storm with anyone you butt heads with.
(Sunspider is seated with the remaining years in the middle row of an auction hall, dressed in black garb that speaks more of one attending a funeral. Perhaps appropriate, as two years have died already, with more sure to follow. She looks once at her watch, then to CSJ with confusion and perhaps a twinge of sadness, before raising an auctioneer's paddle with his moniker stamped in it)
SUNSPIDER:
I hope we don't quick-end the day,
But I still have to Vote: CSJ.
Hate to turn on a fan,
But, like... honestly man.
You look scummier with each thing you say.
