The mob gathered around, shouting and accusing, barking and poem-ing, creating a ruckus, pointing fingers at various points on the timeline that could have been culpable for 2017's murder. Eventually, they settle on 1969. After the mob destroys the year, they find, no one was there. All members of the year 1969 were properly evacuated before the murders started happening.
