Or hell, linking goo across the universe... that might just outright explain the Hivemind.

But he was refered to as 'newly formed' way back when he was revealed and if memory serves as 'a' hivemeind which seems to indicate that the good doesn't have like a single hive mind across the univrse but more like one for every big goo buildup/planet.
(I could be wrong but I think that's what was implied at some point. Can't be bothered to double check right no tho)
