There have been winter storms and icy times all across the country the last week or so. This makes driving a dangerous thing resulting in over-the-road trucks likely to stay in to prevent accidents and some roads being closed or trafficked up to hell because of car pile-ups. Mountain driving in winter (which, if the thing you ordered came from the east ) is especially dangerous since you have long downgrades and icy roads meaning unstoppable 20 ton deathmobiles unable to use brakes.
