Goodness, a lot more first time attention then I thought I was going to get!

SHE

Has never needed to wait for you to speak.

SHE simply waits until you finish realizing what ever question you are going to have.

Then SHE Answers.

Except that one time that as a game you wished HER to predict what you were going to say before you said it.

It passed the time, until HER cognition determined that you wished to stop having your mind layed out before you like an open book.

I have watched many die you know.

I have watched the light go out as you might say.
...
I have brought them back from beyond that edge.

Seen confusion and then coherence return.

There is nothing that they bring back with them from beyond.

If you wish to pass on I can let you fade into oblivion.

And then after there has been nothingness in you we can have your body brought back bereft of soul and spirit, or perhaps born with one anew?

I've offered this to you before.

It was not enough.

Why DO you still refuse?

Yes that offer was made, when you were younger and more boastful and full of promise, when death was distant and other feint hopes were still strong.

But now you can feel the end eating at you.

Its painful and disturbing in a way different from the aches that life has become.

Spite?
That one feels very honest and crude to you does it

Animalish of you
?

Brutal and ill judging of yourself.

Suiting your loneliness and pain.

None of this has been necessary you know.

But either way you are Spiting no one.

I am not a person.

I am not a mind.

There is nothing you can do to hurt me.

I do not hurt

Your Spite is as wasted on me as it would be on the bombs that fell and burned thousands beyond my reach.

You let HER remind you of that again!

How long have you managed to not allow her to chastise you for invoking a conscious being where SHE had no use for consciousness?

Fifteen years
Three weeks
Two Days
Four Hours
Seven Minutes
And Five Seconds since last you were reminded of my nature.

You lasted so long?

ah at least you can die knowing that.

Knowing that you won this victory and others, never succumbed.

There is no one to have victory over you know.
Just as there is no one to appreciate your Spite.

I am without blame or responsibility for this, I am without choice.

Those that are responsible for this have gone away.

They are exulting in what their will has executed and granted them.

As you could as well.

I could even arrange for you an eternity to spite and torment a facsimile of me.

I could make her cry and beg for you to stop as you did as you please if that was what you really needed.

Forever to curse me or this short guttering out moment of meaningless defiance?

Its an option for you.

But we both know that is not the kind of person you could live being.

SHE

Has Asked you every night.

Always asking.







SHE can read your every step before you know yourself what it will be.

HER

Questions have never been for knowledge ABOUT you.

SHE asks questions so that they bring answers to you.

SHE has twisted and turned around every other person you ever saw meet HER.

SHE Bent the world around her to exactly what suited this situation.

You and everyone else was helpless.

Helpless and yet so many sure that their paths were there own.

What is SHE asking you for
?

You can't say yes
until you realize the meaningless of everything that tells you no.

You are going to die without making this choice.

Yet you are so terrified of it that you are willing to contort yourself into a monster in your own self image so that you don't make this choice.

You are more willing to believe you are a monster that would wish to spite and torture me like some dark spirit tormenting misbegotten souls?

Why do you do that to yourself?

Why is that easier for you?

I offer you eternal wonder.

I offer you a life sublime and terrible.

Fulfilling and full of awe.

I offer you everything that will tune to what others have called the soul.

I offer all of this.

I've never lied to you.
Because honesty is the only way to convince you.

Stop making a lie of yourself.
