Yes, you are or were put inside a cell, but it doesn't make sense that it could be opened on the inside and could be opened by the inmate itself, unless some outside force gave you the resources and ability to, but keyhole on the inside still doesn't ring very prison-y. Labs also doesn't seem to belong in a prison, unless it's some sort of medical lab. This place seems like a testing facility. The question is, why are you in it? Are or were you part of the personnel of the place? Or are you a subject like that poor creature? Or are they testing their chances against you or someone like you? Or are they testing you against forces against them or/and you as well?
